Viking Roma Floorball Club is a non-political, non-commercial sport association.
Activities started in February 1999, when basic material was imported from Sweden and a group of friends started to play. In November 1999 the team participated in a first tournament in Bologna, meeting seven other Italian teams.
On the 9th of March 2000 the association is formally constituted and on the 11th of December 2000 Viking Roma is present as one of the founding associations of Federazione Italiana Unihockey-Floorball (FIUF).
